Pours a hazy orange that turns to opaque after the final ounces. Head is two fingers in height and white in color. It has good retention. Aroma is tropical fruits and orange forming a subtle and nuanced citrus aroma. Nuanced in that it doesn't punch the nose, and instead crescendos into a hoppy bouquet. Flavor profile is guava, papaya, mango, and orange with light wheat and biscuity malt notes. Lovely flavor profile, especially for a beer under 5%. Mouth feel is lightly fuzzy and fizzy, with a growing chalky texture at the very back. It has a medium viscosity, again, surprising for a beer under 5% ABV. Very enjoyable, and at 4.4% ABV, a lot of it could be had in one session.

Served in a 12oz snifter from a 16oz can.

Pours a light straw color, finger of head. Has a nice hop flavor with no malt body to balance it. I get that it is a session ipa, and by definition, it will have minimal malt. I just don’t like this style, but if you do, it is worth checking out.

On tap at the brewery on 5/12.

Hazy pale gold with white soapy head. Nose of lime and grasses with some grapefruit and orange. Taste follows along with slightly bitter finish. Not quite as much flavor as I expected them to wring out of this. Light bodied, well-carbonated, very drinkable and balanced.

Taking the foot of the pedal when it comes to hop bitterness, but the hop aroma and juicy hop flavors that come from Kane's session IPA shows no let up. On the backs of Citra, Chinook, Simcoe, Mosaic and Mandarina Bavaria hops, this tiny beer is ready to run with the big dogs.

Tiny Shells wafts over the senses with a rip roaring and radiant perfume of citrus, tropical fruit, orchard fruit, berry and a host of botanical grasses. Hazy golden, the ale is a murky tarnish appearance but with a creamy, frothy eggshell froth. Its first sip teases the tongue with an elegant sweetness of honey, pastry and cashew.

As the taste unfolds, the ale quickly loses its sweetness but its malt creaminess remains. Hop dominance ensues with a rise of tropical flavors first. Pineapple, mango and passionfruit all seem slightly under ripened while its citrusy followup brings a vibrant tang of pink grapefruit, tangerine and lime. Light pawpaw and apple come in late but before a moderate bitterness lays a resinous film of spruce, tea and muddled grasses on the finish.

Medium light on the palate, the beer's early textures are creamy and smooth but a quick release of malt allows for the finish to trail remarkably dry, drinkable and highly refreshing. Hints of gin, citrus zest, green tea and chive extends into a medium length aftertate.

Really gentle for all those kettle and dry hops. The Bavarian aftertaste is wonderful. Somewhat cloudy golden. Would be a summer afternoon dream.
