On tap at EBF in Boston, MA.
This pours a very dark black color, with a small head, and no lacing.
This smells super chocolatey on the nose, with bourbon, coffee, chocolate, and a hint of peanut butter on the back end.
The peanut butter comes through much more strongly on the palate here, adding a nice sticky sweetness, and increasing the deep fudgy character of the base. The bourbon adds a nice finishing touch, with some coffee bitterness as well.
This is medium bodied, sticky and rich, with a lower level of carbonation.
This series is uniformly outstanding, and this beer is no exception to that rule.

Poured jet black with a thin brown head on top. The smell of chocolate and peanut butter were prominent. The taste was really well done. Like eating a peanut butter cup and sipping a stout at the same time. The feel wasn’t sickeningly sweet. Overall a really good beer.
