An amazing seasonal Kane with a glorious haze. Very refreshing, great aromas, and a fantastic finish. Up there with the best Kane has to offer. Found this one is the private stock section of my refrigerator.

Kane just seems to know IPA's. All a bit different and all good.

On tap at Gaslight Brewery in South Orange. Pours a golden, effervescent hue with moderate frothing. Assertive aroma replete with hints of sugarcane and pear. Similar overall flavor profile. Not bad.

Decanted from a 16 oz (473 ml) can into a Kane tulip glass; canned 10/14/20.
A: Pours an opaque, yellow, maybe slightly orange color leaving a one to two finger, white head, rim plus retention, but somewhat more soapy lacing.
S: Aromas of nectarine, white grapefruit, and caramel with notes of pine and barley in particularly waxing as it warms.
T: More semisweet than semidry. Caramel, white grapefruit, pine, and lime all play a rôle in the flavor providing a balance between the malt and fruit. Solid bitterness throughout.
M: Medium bodied with moderate carbonate.
O: My best friends brought me a variety pack of Kane beers they had gotten recently. This is my fourth: yet another delicious, yet distinct AIPA from Kane.

Frothy three finger head topped off by an array of large bubbles, bright white, good retention. Gently filmy yellow rust water in hue, average brightness. Crisp nose, country bread crusts to pretzel, pepper and iodine, tangerine, subtly floral, light herbal dankness as well, nothing tropical about the apricot, peach, melon scents, the constitutive parts well spaced out, nicely clean presentation. Light to medium-bodied, even as the carbonation brings some prickle it’s smooth overall, not a lot of bitterness. The melon fruit flavor jumps to the fore as does the tangerine to naval orange citrus. Close to honeyed at moments. Loses the crusty bread feel in favor of challah and potato bread. Sometimes simplicity is better and that’s my take on this beer, highly enjoyable. (Canned 10/14/20)

Pours a semi opaque orange with a nice creamy /foamy white head. Smell is dough, heavy citrus, melon?,Taste is very refreshing with a tangerine, orangeade thing going on. Feels medium bodied, finishes juicy. Overall very good. I like it better than their usual rotation.
