Kane.
Lucky to have them in Jersey. Lucky to have them on tap at all times at the Cloverleaf. Found this at Jersey Fine Wines in East Brunswick and wanted to see if it measured up to what I've been fortunate enough to come across from these guys over the years.
Thankfully it did!
Nice pour to this as the liquid was muted, golden, and subtly bright as an even head topped it off. A nice collar stayed for the duration as the lacing was thick, and rocky. Lots of tropical fruit and earthy hops in the nose as the aroma was pleasing, but not quite like the beers from these parts. Full taste thanks to the presence of the Pilsner Malt with a good amount of guava, mango, papaya, and deep pineapple to go along with a deep amount of skunk and weed underneath everything. Juicy at the onset, the undertone was that of biscuit as this was one of the fuller IPA's that I've had in quite some time.
Maybe this was an east coast meets west coast thing and if it was, I loved the result. Hard to discern the alcohol in this as it sneaked up on me and was only fully felt once I finished this off. Canned on 9/16 of last year, there was a lot to enjoy here and easily worthy of being part of their lineup!
