On draught at the brewery. Reviewed 4 weeks after release. It pours a hazy, bright orange color with a big, fluffy, ecru head and abundant thick lacing. A super attractive pour. The fragrant, fruity smell includes lemon, lime, tangerine, pineapple, tropical fruit, and soft floral hops. Its taste is big and vibrant with ripe peach, tangerine, and pineapple sweetness balanced by tart lemon and grapefruit. There are additional notes of pine sap and herbs. The hop bitterness is mild and clean throughout. Great depth of flavor. It has a pleasing mouth feel: well-bodied, plush, with an appropriate level of carbonation. And the 8.2% ABV gives it a nice pop without overwhelming. Overall, I'm always impressed by the variants Kane makes of its classic Overhead, which is one of the very best regularly available DIPAs brewed in New Jersey. Krush is another great one; well-conceived and crafted. I bought cans and will note any differences from this review.
