473 mL can from Superstore; dated Apr 13 2022 and served slightly chilled. I've kept the streak going for about a month, but with this last one, I think (hope?) I've finally run out of kettle sours and sour IPAs to review.
Pours a hazy pinkish-amber hue with orange highlights; gathered atop is a glorious two finger layer of puffy, soapy, off-white coloured head that fades slowly and gracefully, speckling the glass with spotty lace as it drops. A creamy collar and wispy cap remain afterwards; looks daiquiri-like. Strawberry and lemon yogurt on the nose, with hints of white wine, floral hops and lemon-lime citrus zestiness.
It's good, but it's not my jam - tart and sweet at first, with strawberry and lemon being the main flavours I'm getting here, backed by a modest note of sour, yogurt-y lacto character and faint graininess. Hints of white grape and lime, but the strawberry is what lasts through the finish and into a tart aftertaste with some lactic acidity lingering briefly. On the fuller side of medium-bodied, with a fluffy, soft mouthfeel punctuated by gentle carbonation. Fair drinkability in spite of its sturdy abv - served cold in hot weather, I think it'd really hit the spot.
Final Grade: 3.83, a B+. Tropical Storm Daiquiri is technically a sour IPA, but I think 'fruit beer' is probably the right spot for this one: its IPA-like aspects are washed out by the strawberry and citrus, and the 'sour' aspects are in the back seat, at best. In the end, this makes for a fruity, not very beer-like experience that both strawberry beer and kettle sour fans should enjoy - a decent re-imagining of the cocktail, one that I found palatable enough to finish easily. This'll never be the sort of brew I drink on a regular basis, but cheers to those who might.

473 ml can served cold into a pint glass. LCBO purchase for $4 or so. Canned March 24, 2022. Sour Daiquiri IPA
Appearance - The color of strawberry juice, reddish, pinkish, semi-hazy and capped with two fingers of fluffy light head.
Smell - Strawberries, a little citrus, some malt in the backbone and a light overall sweetness.
Taste - Strawberries, a little citrus and touch of bitterness, some grainy strays here and there. Pretty refreshing.
Mouthfeel - Medium bodied, on the stickier side. Good fizzy carbonation makes this good in the summer, otherwise a little bit sticky.
Overall - Decent enough fruit beer with some IPA tendencies that thankfully don't go to full blown IPA. For what it is a fruity brew with no artificial tasting flavors and IPA tendencies, it's pretty good. With that said it seems unlikely to make it into my rotation.

I bought a can at the LCBO in Ontario 473ml at 6.2%.
Poured into glass with a 1 to 2 finger head strawberry color reddish.
Very low bitterness level.
Strawberry and lemon lime fruit flavors leaving a lace as you drink it.
Overall it's a refreshing beer.
Mosaic, Neilson, sauvin and cashmere hops are used to make this beer
Good for a hot summers day.
Can't really taste the alcohol at the start .
Cheers
