This fruity twist on the iconic Blanche De Bruges retains the spicy freshness of the original wheat beer and adds a touch of red fruits. It evokes that feeling of holidays, sunshine, and good times. Brewed with juice from fresh cherries and a hint of elderflower.

I drank Blanche De Bruges and enjoyed it. But I really want to drink it again side-by-side with its sister Rose'. And a main reason why is because, I'm guessing, I could've added Rose' as a Witbier. But UnTappd styled this as a Fruit Beer, so we go forward. But as I drink Rose', she Feels like a Wit and a nice soft one that is refreshing.

Rose' Looks full and luscious and largely stays that way until the end. Smells are less impressive, dominated by the red fruit that I presume to be cherries. Tastes really carry the same one-dimensional burden. Better than medium-mouthed for a wit and certainly for a fruit beer.

I give very good Overall Hugs to De Halve Maan for their great beers and keeping alive the Belgian Family Brewers association tradition in Bruges. This is one of my favourite Belgian cities outside of Brussels and I look forward to visiting them on Podge's tour of several Belgian Family Brewers this March. A Notre Sante' !
