Not much to analyze about EGOIPA. Sometimes you just fancy a dank double IPA to sip on, so that's what we made. Multiple hops, multiple malts, multiple yeasts combined in a way to feed the dank side of our enjoyment. Drink EGOIPA because it the dankness you want.

Thanks goes out to tzieser for this brew!
16 oz. Can
Canned On: 11/7/18
Poured into a Trillium glass a pretty nice hazy golden orange color, very nice carbonation, with a very nice creamy two-finger off-white head, which also leaves some pretty nice sticky lacing behind. The nose is hoppy, malty, with a pretty nice citrus complex (orange, tangerine, grapefruit, mango, papaya), nice pineyness. The taste is pretty nice, hoppy, malty, with a pretty nice citrus complex (orange, tangerine, grapefruit, mango, papaya), pretty nice pineyness, nice sweetness. Full Body, ABV is hidden very nicely, with a pretty nice dry/bitter finish. Overall, this is a very tasty brew. Carton makes some pretty fuckn' awesome brews. Thanks Tom!

Excellent DIPA. Clean crisp, relatively clear with an orange hue. Closer to a west coast IPA than a NEIPA, amazingly smooth for a such high ABV, malt seems to ameliorate. Starts off a bit sweet than the hoppiness kicks in and the citrus flavors begging to emerge along with a danky nose and taste. Not overly carbonated, with a very nice finish. Excellent!

I typically don;t go for IPAs with this high of an ABV but knowing Carton and knowing IDIPA I went for it. This beer is really terrific, perfectly balanced, firmly bitter, and seriously enjoyable. Solid in every way. yb

Unable to read smeared date on bottom of 16 oz can. Stored upside down at 42 degrees and served at 42 degrees in a hand washed and dried Jester King snifter.
Appearance – 4.
Body – Light orange, hazy, translucent.
Head – large (Maximum 6.5 cm, aggressive center pour), off-white, low density froth, average retention, diminishing to an irregular five to twelve mm ring and a thin complete layer. Multiple small pieces of lacing remain.
Lacing – Fair. Undistinguished bands of tiny bubbles occasionally linked by long columns.
First pour – Light yellow, clear.
Aroma – 4 – Moldy oranges.
Flavor – 4.25 - Begins moderately bitter with an earthy flavor. Some malt becomes evident as it warms. No alcohol (10% ABV), no diacetyl, no dimethylsulfide.
Palate – 3.25 – Medium, almost creamy, lively carbonation.
Impression and interpretation – 4.25 – A very good dank IIPA. This is easily swallowed, almost too easily. The balance between the malt and the dank hops is excellent.

Pours a hazy golden orange with light foamy white head. Big dank aromas: mango, papaya, earthy musk, some residual citrus: pineapple, grapefruit, lemon, orange. Taste follows nose: big dank hoppiness, papaya and mango, followed by pineapple, grapefruit, orange juice finish. Appropriate carbonation, medium bodied. Overall an excellent DIPA, big, bold, dank, but not like a NE hazy. This is fairly clear, clean, thick and syrupy (for a DIPA). Drink this fresh!!!
