Pours hazy yellow with a thick white head. Aroma is very floral and sweet. Taste is IPA bitter with this fruity/floral layer on top that really clamps down on the bitterness, it's excellent. Feel for a triple IPA is outstanding, the oats are doing their thing. Overall, it's fantastic and you wouldn't know it's 10%.

So light bodied and drinkable at 10% it’s almost unbelievable. The aroma definitely starts to pop as it warms up. The Sabro is evident in a good way. It’s got this sweet fruit note. My first thought was banana. Definitely getting some coconut but more of a sweet pineapple / coconut. Got this Tropical Starburst thing going on. Lemon-lime candy, a little grassy and a touch of bitterness. As it warms more you can tell it’s a big IPA with some warmth.

2d Review after MacMalt. This feels like over-dressed Jerseyans on the boardwalk evening.
a) Translucent glowing golden body mounts dense and lasting, lacing head.
s) Corsage floral with melon, pineapple, oats.
t) More of aroma - grows and glows bigger with each floral, aromatic, individual note of the fruit sharpened by the over-hopping and alcohol. of citrus, pineapple, ripe melon, and oats. Agree with Mac on the vanilla cream underbelly, and enjoying the pepper on crackers finish.
f) Full mouth feel. remains floral, peppery to the end. Reminds me of nasturium and fennel seeds.
o) Fine collaboration with Other Half, Brooklyn and Carton, Atlantic Highlands - both have excellent hard water.

Canned on 8/13/2020. Poured into a Carton IPA glass. It pours a murky, pastel orange color with a creamy, bright white cap and thick, clinging lacing. The smell is quite floral with whiffs of citrus, pineapple, ripe melon, and oats. The taste opens with fresh fruit: pineapple, orange, lemon, and grapefruit. But it's quickly followed by sweetness from the grist, including the flaked oats and caramel and pilsner malts. There are also notes of wheat cracker at the finish. I'm not familiar with HBC 472 hops but they add a really plush oaky, vanilla-cream flavor. They nicely compliment the Sabro hops. And there is a pleasant spicy bitterness at the finish. This ale has a nice, full mouth feel with pleasant carbonation, and with all the flavor it's easy to miss the 10% ABV. Overall, this TIPA is a work of art by two of the finest brewers I know. It may be the most delicate triple I've ever had but the flavors are big and bold. This is well-conceived and superbly brewed.
