(16 oz can, Journey Began 07/03/24; purchased cold 4-pack from Cork & Bottle... poured into Tubinger mug)
L: pale, jade yellow liquid with mild-moderate haze; pillowy, billowy, silken foam, receding into spongy cap and collar... coral top ring and some lacy drapes, but the cap and collar eventually degrade
S: well-fermented dough the skin of which is starting to dry out... soft lemon tart undercurrent, green leafy/stem-like noble hop top note... magnificent depth and intensity overall; packed-plump malt foundation... vaguely pedio/oxidized edge?
T: lemon pithy, latently green herbaceous bite up front, with a flour-powdered, light dinner roll breadiness blooming in the finish and lingering long in the aftertaste... the familiar character of the Saaz penetrates the bread and perfumy bitterness only briefly before pulling back into a spicy backdrop... each sip carries a teasing lactic essence, almost like foeder aged
F: like its foam, rather silky with long, residual caress in the finish, followed by sandpapery dry undertow and cholorphyllic stun... mellow out to resin-drenched malt juice by the end; little gassy sizzle, but its acidity supplies a tingle
O: did not so much enjoy the first can I shared with my brother the other day, but I think the glasses we used were too narrow and tall, which resulted in muted hop flavor somehow... quite good entry into the Whip family, but it's my least favorite of the ones I've tried, but might be the most electrifying to the palate (2389)

Clear gold brew with a pure white two-finger head. Euro ingredients insure this Czech Pilsner's authenticity. Crisp flavor palate includes lemon, grass with bread and grain from the 4-malt profile. My only beef is the flavor lacks a bit of the sharp crispness of the best Czech pilsners. So kind of a Czech Pilsner light. Solid, but less substantial than it could have been.

No decoction tasted, nor is it mentioned. Mix up of malts which leave no trace of a czech pilsner. Tangy amateur lager not worth the extra loot. Get a 12 pack of pilsner urquell and don't mess with this phony.

Bic is Euro lager built for east coast usa.
A pale yellow clear body, scant head, white rim.
S Classic apple, lemons, straw, grass.
T Follows aroma, straw and grain comes into play. Feel like I’m in Luxembourg.
F) crisp, Astringent, almost sauvignon blanc.
O) If you like plains of Europe beer, this is a great classic fit, because it’s so much better when fresh.
