(16 oz can, journey began 04/18/25; purchased cold 4-pack at their taproom last week... poured into a Carton mug)
L: brilliantly-clear, extra pale, straw gold colored liquid; foam pearly white, loose, and little of it... head doesn't hold but, curiously, a thin collar clings
S: bready Czech pils foundation... light, vaguely Froot-Loopy corn cereal undertone
T: surprisingly forward in green-grassy, earthy, farm field flavors... several measures after the initial hit, quite a corn tortilla note swells up in the aftertaste... not sure if it's the mineral content or Nugget hops accentuating that gradually-spicier chlorophyllic grassy flavor that just maintains its volume... overall, it's extra dry with field and multigrain bread crust outliers... the more I'm sipping this, the more I'm tasting sour mash, hmm...
F: the bit of bitterness and funk it has flames the tongue a touch, almost smoky... not much contour or drag; washy, cut and more and moreishly dry
O: I had this on draft in their taproom last week and it must've been much colder as, though refreshing and perfect for that moment in time, it didn't have anywhere near the almost farmhouse-y characteristics I'm getting with this can... the funk note is loud, but I do dig this brew (2417)
