2022 vintage
I forgot that I grabbed this bottle when I visited Carton a few months back. I worked my way through the rest of the stash so quick and completely glanced over this one. I’m in the mood for something simple to start off the night, so let’s get into it
Pours a cloudy deep gold with 2 fingers of soapy white head that fades to a thin cap and leaves minimal lacing
It definitely leans earthy in the nose, and though I prefer some funk in the style this is nicely done. I’m picking up on aromas of lemon zest, pear skin, floral hops, bready malt, white pepper, green tea, and light grass
There’s an ever so subtle funk in taste that ties this one together nicely. On the front end of the sip I’m tasting crackery malt, lemon juice, white pepper, floral hops, wildflower honey, apple skin, and grass. The swallow brings notes of lemon zest, pear skin, bready malt, wildflower honey, floral hops, lemongrass, and wet hay
A light medium body pairs with moderate carbonation, resulting in a slick and refreshing beer. Finishes mostly dry with a balanced earthiness
Even for not being a huge fan of the style this one was done nicely. Carton rarely misses, I can’t wait to go back

1st Review, enjoyed fresh at brewer today, one of my favorites.
Again Nov 2024, more barn, more herb, more probiotics, Luscious!
a) Lacing white head over apricot hazed body.
s) yeast, grass, mulled fruit, hops.
t) follows smell, brings a creamy, fresh bouquet of fall flowers and fall garden.
f) Lucious, creamy, clean.
o) Go for this best of all Harvest table beers.
