Hazy, lemon juice body, rapidly forming an angel white head that fades in a minute, not great retention.
Citrusy aromas of lemon and grapefruit zest, the lightest yeast funk, white crackers, a touch floral.
First thing that hits is the aggressive frothiness of the carbonation, which distracts from the flavour; taste is lightly tart citrus fruit balanced with crisp but almost flavourless malt; mild citrus and pine hop bitterness towards the finish, leaving the palate dry; dose of minerality in the aftertaste; feel is medium-light, almost watery due to the flavour and despite the high carbonation.
Refreshing, simple flavour and crisp, nicely dry, but the carbonation it's heavy-handed and distracting. Worth a try as a summer choice, as other batches might be more balance.d

500ml bottle purchased from the brewery.
A: Golden amber hue, a bit hazy, with three fingers of bubbly white foam. A couple dots of lacing on the glass.
S: Yeasty effervescence, orange peel, melon fruit. Hint of spice. A bit floral and herbal too.
T: Mostly follows nose.
M: Medium peppery mouthfeel, spicy middle with prickly carbonation, ultra dry finish.
O: Remarkably complex for a light saison / patersbier. Really well done.
