12oz can shared with Jeremy.Golden pour with small white foamy head. Average lager, grainy, biscuity, mildly sweet. But more importantly, a much sought after ND tick. Sweet! Thanks!

(12 oz can, no date/code, label different than in BA profile; purchased single off shelf at Happy Harry's in Fargo the other day... poured into a Busch shaker pint)

Mostly-clear, very pale yellow liquid; fleeting foam, not wanting to retain, collar, or lace... pizza dough aromas, hint of lemony hop oils; touch of cat piss later on... palate flavors similar to the aromas; doughy aftertaste, but at least it's balanced by a firm, grassy hop bitterness; just doughy pils malt and peppery-herbal hop, flavors that linger... plush texture front to back; kind of gassy, palate inflates; bitterness and alc lend a little warmth... as a basic 'American lager' it's not too bad; drink it cold from the can (2178)

Apparently I prefer this more than other reviewers but this beer is light, crisp, and refreshing and is a great warm weather beer for when you want something crafty but not too crafty.

Golden with very little head. Ordered on tap at a tap house. I drank 2 with dinner, it was good. A nice combination of sweet, bready notes, and a bit of a bitter finish. I thought it had a nice balance. It didn't have the bitter ale notes common with so many beers, and it is a nice change in a category of helles lager that is not as crowded as the IPA crowd.

Undated can purchased 8/19/17 at Happy Harry's in Fargo. Poured into Belgian ale glass.

L: 1F+ head with poor retention, leaves only a little bit of lacing and a very thin cap and ring. Beer is a clear light gold.

S: A little bit of citrus, Pils malts and lager yeast.

T: Bready and yeasty. Light citrus. Neutral finish.

F: Light bodied, moderate carbonation. Pretty crisp and refreshing. Construction and balance OK.

O: I like it better than most, I guess. It's pretty good.

This is the lowest I have ever rated a craft beer. The brewer describes this beer as modeled after German Helles lager and describes it as pouring brilliantly clear with as grainy Pilsner malt aroma, light lager yeast esters, and spicy hop notes. According to the brewer it has a crisp and clean flavor with a lightly sweet cracker-like malt balanced by a subdued bitterness. What I ave in my glass bears no resemblance to the brewer's description and is obviously a mistake.

L: It pours hazy straw with a 1/2" foam cap that rapidly dissipates, lacking the brilliant clarity touted by the brewer.

S: The aroma has cracker and malt and a trace of hops but it also has some fairly potent Granny Smith Green Apple notes and some sourness that does not belong.

T: From the look and smell I might expect a Keller bier but the taste dashes even that hope. This is a surprisingly tart beer for a lager and the esters are surprisingly high and there is a medium high bitterness that does not work with anything else. The aftertaste is bitter, green apple tart - it is unusual and unexpected and not a clean and smooth or crisp German Helles Lager.

F: The beer is light with above average fizzy carbonation.

O: This beer tastes infected and it suffers from improper processing. It should have never made it to the market.

With no can dating I have no idea how old this is. Bought as a single.
Real hazy pale yellow with big fulll white hat. Initially a kind of sour aroma moving to a more yeasty take and a very pale pale malt aroma.
Still with the sourness. What's that about? Maybe lactic, a little, with a weird drying on the finish.
Too bad, but I'm not gonna' finish this.

This hazy lager pours about 70% transparent, with a tall white glove of head, almost all the way to the top from the bottom but quickly receding to a 1/2 finger. It leaves some fizzy fuzz on the sides of the glass. The color takes on an almost greenish tint to it, like fresh wood.

Aromas are not abundant, nor are they loud, but I'm picking apart some pilsner malts, oat, bread, and floral hop. A bit of brine, a bit of honey.

Flavor is confusing and divided. Not sure what they were going for here, or if they had an objective at all. Familiar flavors of pilsner stabs in and out, followed by some fruity esters and methyl reminiscent of fruit wheat beers and malt liquor respectively. The flavor ends on gasoline, mixed with some old bread crusts. It's a mess, that's all I can say.

Feel brings it around a little. Some delightful creaminess comes punching through the middle of the drink, surrounded in front and end by wet water and light sizzling carbonation.

Fargo, you have some fair to okay beers but even this is not one of them. The beer is very confused and misaligned. Decide what style you want to go after, and highlight some ingredients in the profile. This is just bad homebrew.
