On tap at the brewery during 19th Anniv. Party in February 2016.
Pours with a fine, clear but lightly hazy amber body but the head is minimal and bubbly.
Unusual but appealing aroma with evidence of wine barrel aging.
The flavor is stronger than the aroma suggests, and way more woody and with lots of red wine notes.
Medium body with light carbonation.
Overall: fine aroma but too much wood in the flavor.

One of a large number of samples I had at the Extreme Beer Fest in Boston 3/21/32014. Grapey saison, nice sipper.

During a brewery tour, I had this beer twice, each time from different taps. The first time it is very good. The second one was not the same as the first, and even my GF who doesn't like beer could tell it wasn't right. You could really taste the alcohol and off flavors the second time. I'm rating 4 based on the good sample.
