An "India Brown Ale".
Oh me oh my… what did we do?
We fired up the skillet to 420°, tossed in a sizzling concoction of 2-row, Wheat, Pale Chocolate, Cara-Brown and Midnight Wheat, then added in a hefty dose of hop hash and other dank-ish-ish-ish fixin’s to scatter, smother and cover this baby all the way.
Resiny, citrusy hops spice up the rich chocolate and caramel notes the malt brought to the mix, making this platter slide down the counter at 60 IBU’s.
Grains: 2-Row, Wheat, Pale Chocolate, Cara-Brown, Midnight Wheat
Hops: Mandarina Bavaria, Bravo, Hop Hash
ABV: 6.2% IBU’s: 60

Taken from notes in 2016:
Super west coast forward piney brown ale with intense hop aroma and flavor profile with a solid brown ale back bone. Get it before you don't see it anymore

Clear, brown color. One finger, off-white head. Aroma of caramel, bread, and tropical fruits. Hoppy bitterness dominates in taste, with bread and caramel sweetness in the background. Good interpretation of the style, but I probably prefer more classic versions.

"Best by 11/17/15"; drank 10/19/15 @ the Yarchives.
See-through brown/red appearance.
A gentle pour yielded a HUGE khaki head (careful pouring!); a curtain of frothy tree-rung lace.
Brown sugar & orange citrus notes in the nose.
Medium thin mouthfeel.
Brown sugar & orange citrus flavors up front; harshly bitter grapefruit bite on the finish.
Interesting but not very enjoyable do to the punishing finish. I've had my last.

Piney hops at first, then a sweet malt finish subtly featuring notes of cocoa. Very smooth, good amount of carbonation. Interesting, and a great combination of an IPA and a brown ale.

16oz draft pour into a pint glass shows a lovely clear shade of mahogany and floats a 1/4in creamy light tan head.
Little to no aroma, metallic, maybe.
Flavors are a mix of chocolate, vanilla, and caramel with a resiny hop bitterness on the back end.
Mouthfeel is crisp and clean, and appropriately light for the style.
I don't get what it wants to be, but I like the flavor, mostly.

11/11/16 notes - pours medium dark brown with touches of white foam. Malty nutty nose, like a brown ale, but faint. Starts bready and bursts into a resiny pine malt. Sharp tart citrus. Some cola/vanilla. Clever concoction. Well made.
