Copenhagen 29/3 2018. 35,5 cl bottle from SuperBrugsen, Brønshøj Torv, Brønshøj. Some kind of sport fishing seasonal with a big gulping fish and some merry sport fishermen on the label. It also reassures you that you can drink it from Dawn until Dusk without getting too drunk due to the moderate ABV.
Pours hazy pale yellow with a small bubbly white head. Settles as a very thin layer of foam barely covering the surface of the beer. No lacing.
Aroma is on the sweet side for an IPA. Then again they call it an " Tropical India Pale Ale" on the label. Sweet peach and mango. Hints of raspberries and light tart notes of gooseberry and unripe currants.
Light carbonation and slightly thick texture.
Flavor is medium sweet followed by slightly stronger bitterness. A little watery.
A bit on the sweet side but pretty middle of the road.

Pours clear golden yellow with a thick white cap that leaves great lacing. Aroma is faint to non-existent, some tropical fruit. Flavor follows the nose, a bit more pronounced than the aroma. Feel is light bodied and a little light on the carbonation for my liking. Overall, a nice enough beer.

12 ounce can from a mix pack, poured into a pint can-glass. Looks nice, clear gold, fine foam.
Aroma is mango, orange, papaya and faint pineapple.
Taste is immediately refreshing, it’s light, the fruits and hops stay in line, yet no hop bite to speak of. The sweet note is pleasant.
Feel is light to medium, medium carbonation.
Overall, a nice little porch or beach cooler beer to help battle summer’s heat.

Appearance: 12oz can (4 months before “best by” date) with a lively underwater coral theme that matches the style. The label is reminiscent of Airheads or Starburst tropical candy packaging. In a pint glass, clear golden color with short bright white head that stuck around much longer than expected. In fact, it never went away. Nor did I want it to. Much like a vacation in the tropics.
Strong and inviting aroma of sweet, tropical flavors. Cara Cara orange juice, mango, apricot, tangerine, papaya, passionfruit.
Taste: All the great flavors that were detected on the nose. The inviting sweetness pleasantly overpowers any bitterness that exists.
Feel: Medium bodied with just the right amount of carbonation. Completely absent of the stickiness associated with artificial sweeteners. Pleasant aftertaste.
Overall: Great, well-balanced beer. Another winner from SweetWater. Best enjoyed with sand between your toes and the sound of waves crashing nearby.
Pairing: I didn’t detect much pineapple on the nose or tongue, so I did an easy pairing with freeze-dried unsweetened pineapple chunks. Great plan to match this beer with anything that has a pineapple taste, as this is the only flavor the beer is lacking.

I really enjoyed this tropical session IPA. It pours a beautiful golden color with a healthy looking, white, frothy head. The nose is pure tropical hops with pineapple and grapefruit overtones. Absolutely a summer IPA.

Poured into a grip shaped goblet: color is straw, light haze, head is brighter white, some lacing and lingering thin top.
Smell starts with light juicy, fruity hops, subtle tropical notes, minimal malt notes. Its pleasant but not that enticing.
Taste is a bit thin, the tropical notes subdue with warmth and through the taste; malt is limited, bitterness creeps in after drinking.
Mouthfeel is more bitter than apas of this strength and stronger than some ipas about 1% abv above this, getting better with warmth.
Overall a subdued tropical style ipa with moderate bitterness.
