12 oz can, enjoy by 10/25/18. Pours clear light straw gold with a small creamy white head that goes to a thin film that leaves a little lacing.

The aroma is sweet lemon and perfumey spice.

The flavor is lots of sweet lemon with a spiced finish. The mouthfeel is medium bodied with low carbonation.

Overall, not much of a pils, but an interesting sweet spiced lemon beer.

L; Clear light straw gold color with not much of a white head and very little lacing on the glass.

S: Bready and some floral aromas, some toasted biscuit and a slight aspirin aroma. Not an overly strong aroma.

T: Bready and very sweet, as it warms a bit the sweetness mellows a bit, but still quite sweet for a pilsener, Some floral hops in the background.

F: A little heavy in body for a pilsener, but creamy smooth and pretty easy drinking.

O: This pils is definitely drinkable, however, it feels a little overly sweet for a pilsener.

Pours a pilsy golden color with some dank creaminess, a head that goes on for days and lasts a fair while. Lace is left in specks. 80% opaque.

Aromas of asprin, orange julius, plenty of orange froth, and a distinct herbal quality that stands out with spices complimenting it and finally lemon pith. Out of the 697 beers I've reviewed on here, this one smells like none of the others. NONE of the others. Love it. Original! 5!

The flavor is like a two sided coin. It's very malty to start, with biscuit and crystal malts; and then on the flip side you get pure lemon scrapings and hop character with hints of pine breathing out the finish. It's insanely crushable but some of the flavors don't exactly mince well together.

Feel is equally carbonated and creamy. Strikes a rare balance. In the gut it fills up quite uncomfortably though, so the sessionability is diminished a bit. Still, easy drinking and begs for another sip...

My scores are all over the place for this one. However, I think overall it's a decent beer and I wouldn't discourage anyone from picking up a six pack if you want a pilsner-ish malty beer with generous rinds of juicy lemon and a breath of hop at the end.

quite an interesting can of beer here, called the golden one, but it only looks that way in a bright light. in normal light, it looks murky and even a little pink, which cant be explained by its ingredients. a blonde type brewed with lemon verbena. i think its the best use of that i have seen in a beer, and having grown plenty of it this summer, i can attest that its flavor in this beer is really genuine, fresh, and forward. im surprised how pungent it is, almost perfume-like there in the nose, and a pils malt base stays out of the way there too. its like lemongrass but a little more herbal and a little more citric, tea-like, and refreshing. its also excellent for health, so a few of these might be a good idea. clean finishing and easy down, even though there quite a bit of residual yeast floating around in here and some body with it. its carbonation is through the roof, and it helps it be more easy drinking. better in summer than winter i think, but a very unique beer, and a definite contribution to the growing colorado craft canned beer game. sweet that these guys grow their own hops too, not many doing that!
