Twenty tap is great. Taps rotate regularly with a balanced selection of craft beers. Food tends to be high quality as well.

Came here with my wife on a recent trip to Indianapolis.

Tried the following:
Schlafly Tasmanian IPA (draft)
Sierra Nevada Oktoberfest (draft)
Stillwater / Against the Grain Rio De Sauvin (draft)
Goose Island Oktoberfest (sample)
Indiana City Shadow Boxer Oatmeal Stout (draft)

All were good to great except for the Goose Island, which was far too sweet for my liking.

Had the shrimp & grits for dinner while my wife ordered the mixed green salad and chicken and wild rice soup. We then split a soft pretzel with pickled veggies and mustard. Everything was flavourful and well presented.

Our overall experience was exceptional, and we would definitely come back.

Best ever changing lineup in Indy. Top in quality with clean lines and a good assortment of styles and breweries.

I had several beers at Twenty Tap and I was consistently disappointed to the point I have to believe there is something wrong with their tap lines. They had just tapped Permanent Funeral and it was just bad. No aroma and citrusy hop flavor that I'm used. Next up was Daredevil Slip Stream. 2 weeks prior I had that at Daredevil and gave it a 4. The beer I had a 20 Tap was undrinakble.

The service and the food was very good. The beer, the only reason to go there, was horrendous.

I went to Twenty Tap on the recommendation of an employee at the Upland tasting room. After my visit I wanted to go back and shake that man's hand! My girlfriend and I walked in about 4:30pm on a Friday afternoon. The place was small. The bar was to the left. I prefer to belly up, but only single seats remained. We were seated to the right at a gigantic booth. I felt bad that the two of us were taking up a booth that sat at least six people, but our kind waiter said to not worry about it.

I scanned the menu and saw that they had Christmas Bomb! I ordered that since I had never tried a Bomb! in any form. The waiter then asked if I wanted the Bomb! or the Christmas Bomb! I didn't even see that Bomb! was on tap. I chose the Prairie Bomb! What a delicious beer! Now my date was hungry, so she went ahead and ordered the brisket sandwich. She almost never cleans her plate unless I'm cooking. I am surprised that she did not like the plate clean as much as she gushed over the sandwich.

I moved on to the Christmas Bomb! and ordered a coffee encrusted burger. Then ordered another Prairie Bomb! to pair it with. The burger was awesome. There was coffee flavor but not too much. It went great with my beer.

Our waiter was very helpful and attentive. They had 38 beers on tap with a limited but great bottle/can selection. We both loved our food. It was a fantastic experience that I would love to have again. I may still be on a Prairie Bomb! high, but I loved this place. It is small so get there early.

Great Food - Definitely recommend the Wake Up Burger! Fantastic, Great fries, great price!

Great Beer - Great rotating selections and great specials and prices! Very inexpensive compared to other bars

Great Atmosphere

A smaller establishment but the service has still been great even when packed.

20 Tap is a great beer bar in Indy. The place is a bit small, but everyone is typically friendly and there are choices of booths, tables, and the bar. They also have darts and a patio. This is a great place to get hard to find, limited release beers as well as local gems. They do a lot of tap takeovers with some really unique and limited stuff.

The staff has always been friendly and attentive and quick to take care of you. Additionally, they typically get the glassware for the style right. Pricing is reasonable and the food is pretty solid. Contrary to its names, there are actually almost 40 taps on hand and there is a bottle list as well.

Perhaps the best part about 20 Tap is that they keep their tap list updated daily on their website. If you are looking for a great place to have a beer in Indy, this is it.

Twenty Tap is a smallish restaurant/bar in the South Broad Ripple area with the space being divided equally between the bar and booths. Lighter wood tones with metal accents give the space a brighter, airy feel. The crowd was a lively mix of college students and after-work professionals.
The beer was all quality. Mostly American craft with an understandable and appreciated leaning towards the local and regional beer scene - Sun King, Outlier, Bier Brewery, Flat 12, Three Floyds. There were a couple of Belgians and a couple of national craft brews to round things out. Beers come in three sizes: half pint, full pint, and 10oz pours of speciality and high gravity beers. Unfortunately the beer sizes dictate the glassware, so most of the beers come in a standard shaker's pint. Personally I would have liked to seen the glassware tailored to the specific beer, but it is obvious the owners are attempting to limit their glassware costs.
Service was attentive and efficient, though not overly friendly or talkative. However, the bar was packed and on a wait during my visit, so I can't fault the service for taking care of business instead of chit-chatting.
Food was generally good, but nothing overly impressive. Pretzel was perfectly acceptable, though I found the crisp, lightly pickled vegetables to be much more memorable. Vegetarian bahn mi had great potential, but ended up being rather soggy and overly soft.
Prices were dumbfoundingly cheap: 3 pints, an app, and a sandwich came to a mere $25.

Awesome tap list. 40+ beers. Poor service. The place was moderately busy, but we waited 30 minutes or so for our server to collect the check. They didn't seem to know what they were doing as far as who got what food. They brought us another table's food at one point. They were also out of a number of beers that remained posted as available. ..
