Nice hoppy aromas, great golden color with a tight white head. Flavors of rich hops & malts ending with a warm bite.

This one looks good, a thick amber color with a solid off-white head almost a finger tall that drops good lace.
Some decent hops show in the nose, mostly floral with some dark fruit esters, a whiff of ethanol, and some soapiness.
The taste starts sweeter, some biscuit and caramel malt flavors giving way to drier notes that are mostly floral and grassy. It dries quickly, then transitions to a woody, almost soily(?), chalky finish.
The alcohol thins the body a bit, but it holds. There's enough crispness to keep things interesting and it remains clean enough. It dries out in the middle with the flavor and ends a little harshly.

Pours a rich amber brew with a tight, clingy, sticky, lace. Fruity, floral, and herbal in the nose with hints of soap. Sharp carbonation. Dry, hoppy, grassy bite with some chalky aspirin. Underlying fruitiness, a bit jammy, with some sweet, malty, breadiness. Finish dry with a floral linger.
IPA or DIPA? It's somewhere in-between, and good overall. It's very hop-forward and its dry, hoppy edge makes it quite crushable, however, it's missing many of the layers and warmth found in today's DIPAs. Calling it just an IPA might have been a better decision.

22 oz bottle was poured into a nonic glass.
Appearance: A one finger head was poured that reduced to a puffy layer. It is a hazy pale orange with some vision of bubbles comings up through the glass. Frothy lacing down the glass as the beer was drank.
Smell: Grapefruit, tangerine, pungent, and some caramel
Taste: This beer went from tasty to strange and weird quickly. Citrus, caramel, and bread followed by dirty, off flavors.
Mouthfeel: It starts off smooth and chewy, but then gets tough to put down.
Overall: Not a fan. Picked up a bottle tonight in J.P. and not sure how old this bad boy is. I can't even finish it off. Sorry guys.
