On-tap 10/4/2015 at Doherty’s East Ave Irish Pub, in Pawtucket, RI served in a tapered pint glass.
A: The beer is a bright gold color, with a short white head that fades quickly and leaves a thin lace on the glass.
S: The aroma is faint but contains Belgian yeast, light caramelized malts, some citrus and some spice.
T: The taste starts out bready with flavors of Belgian yeast and a hearty but not too heavy malt character. Then some tart and sweet flavors of citrus and spice come in. The hops presence is mild and complementary but there is not much balance. The after-taste is slightly tart.
M: Crisp and a little smooth, medium body, medium carbonation, finish is clean and dry.
O: A little tasty, goes down ok, not too filling, decent kick, good representation of style, there are definitely several beer is the style that I would pick before this one.

Had on tap at the Home restaurant in Branford. Pours a nice light gold with a little cloudiness, small head that never sticks around. Smell is pretty gentle, some funky yeast and bready malts. Flavor follows suit, but this one is a sweeter farmhouse ale then what I'm used to. Some spices going around and light malts. Finishes a little heavy and the sweetness is a bit much. Overall a nice farmhouse but a bit too heavy and sweet.
