16oz can served in a snifter. Canned on 09/0X/21 (cannot read a digit).
Pours a clear amber color with a fairly small head and little head retention. Leaves some wisps and fairly thin ring. Looks pretty still after the initial settle-out. Smell is herbal/spicy, maybe slightly medicinal. Second whiff gives me something very earthy, almost a fresh wet mulch aroma.
Taste is more herbal/spiciness with a strong medicinal bitterness. I can't find the melon I associate with strata. It's just dominated by that bitter pill flavor.
Mouthfeel is medium, could use a bit more effervescence. Overall...it's OK. I've had some pretty bad gluten free beers, and this isn't that bad, but it's not great by any stretch, and also not highlighting fresh hops in my opinion.
