Clear golden yellow brew with long-lasting foam in the Baltimore Brewing stein. Hops are listed as Strata, Citra, and Seven C's. Big aroma with pine and orange peel nose. Flavors of peach, grapefruit, and something like blueberry with a citrus peel finish. Some astringency in the aftertaste.

Crisp and even a little on the acidic side, but well balanced. Lovely slushy mouthfeel. Overall this is a very friendly and drinkable hoppy brew. From the 16 oz can purchased at Bine & Vine. Dated 09/05/20 on the bottom.

Packaged on 8/5 - consumed on 9/13 - poured from a 16oz can into my Dogfish Head shaped pint glass.

Clear golden poppy liquid with roiling activity building beneath three fingers of pearling white soft peaks. Soapy, almost merengue-like lacing; very good retention.

Passion fruit, star fruit, kiwi, pineapple, shallots, strawberry, honeydew, a touch of weed, orange, bubble-gum, etc. A lot going on in the nose!

Dank, grassy, oily, and sweet palate entry with odd fruit and marijuana notes fighting for attention. Mild bitterness despite how hop-forward it is, with just a bit of biscuity malt as foil. Medium-dry finish, with some residual tropical fruit.

Soft yet well carbonated mouth-feel. Not-quite-refreshing.

Interesting and unique IPA, an excellent show-case for the hops (in particular Strata) - happy I picked this one up.

It makes me so happy to see Smog City in pint cans. Poured into a nonic pint, it produces one finger of white head that leaves a single thick, unbroken band of lacing and a golden yellow body. Mostly transparent, with just a touch of haze.

Aromas of red grapefruit and alphonso mango blast out of the can, followed up by subtler notes of gooseberry, pineapple, galia melon against a base of asian pear, undertoned by spicy basil and tarragon.

Sweet, spicy and tangy on the tongue. A fresh tropical fruit bomb, and the asian pear takes center stage here, keeping it light and drinkable.

An awesome feel; medium bodied with a perfect amount of zing and a crisp finish. Maybe a little drier than necessary.

Great beer, as expected. Not their most complex beer, but undoubtedly delicious. Cheers!

Raul ain’t gonna slap his mama, his grandmama, or even an aunt. That being said, it’s still a good beer. Nothing amazing like Eva Green playing against that Bond dude. But still good enough to blow the whistle like $hort Dawg.

I’m out.
