Handsome clear amber brew with plenty of foam in the Kölsch glass. Starts out with an interesting aroma of something like red grapes and raspberries. The taste however slashes bitterness from your tongue to the back of the palate and lies there like a smouldering dragon. I think of the harshest organic arugula with aspirin dressing.
Lovely label, since I love kelp for some reason. But totally undrinkable as the involuntary salivation starts up a wad in my mouth. Hops are alleged to be Zappa and Medusa. From the 16 oz can, regrettably from the four-pack purchased at Total Wine, may they rot, etc. On the bright side, should be irrestible snail bait in a little saucer in the garden. Dated 10/21/21 on the bottom.
