The look is a classic example of that subset of NEIPAs that are grapefruit dominated in appearance and nose. Verrrry hazy with color of yellow grapefruit juice. A fair amount of lacing and long-lasting head. Mostly grapefruit, with some zest bitterness but some tropicals in the background. Mild carbonation. Relatively heavy body. Overall a representative example of this subset of NEIPA; not outstanding but not bad at all.

There are some good Hazy’s out there. They have like, balance and stuff, you know? But when you can’t tell if what you are drinking is a beer or spiked Sunny D, that’s not a good thing. I guarantee if you serve this at a 4 year old’s birthday, those youngsters would lap it up good and start acting a fool. Raul doesn’t like that. I’m gone.

16 oz can dated 05/10/23
Hazy straw to gold in color. Bountiful white head rises high, settles to a film. Decent retention. Scattered lacing.
Nose is citrus zest, some mango, guava, grass.
Flavor starts off generally "tropical" but can be picked apart to find mango, orange rind, floral lemongrass, lime, and either peach or apricot.
Mouthfeel is fine for style. Good, lively carbonation. Bitterness dries out a bit on the finish.
Overall, a nice, different hop profile. Refreshing.

IN THE GLASS:
Looks amazing in the glass, massively opaque/hazy, radiates light outside in the sun but no sun is visible through the thickness.
NOSE:
Huge nose, massive juicy wave of hop aromas, mainly zest lemon, orange, grapefruit, mango, etc. Prevailing lemony zestiness..
TONGUE:
Follows suit, hugely thick haze cloud of hoppy fruit forwardness and juiciness. Very NEIPA. Something a little acidic comes though that I don't love in bigger hazies, but it's typical to the style.
FEEL:
Big, bold, and medium, but finishes medium dry.
This is a great hazy IPA, it's not my all time favorite, but I'd happily drink it again and it warmed up, it only got better and in many ways, that's the best sign of well-crafted brew!
