Nesting Pair, I swear - are you with me? Like I am with you? To soar in stride, and to blot out the sky… As I take this breath, are you with me when I rest? What was once simple fun, now we are out on the run. Alone together. Together alone… We are together alone.

Bright, clear amber brew with long-lasting foam in the Maredsous goblet. Enticing aroma of honeydew melon and cucumber. Very sudsy mouthfeel that adds to the pleasure. The flavor is distinctive, with a mild citrus peel and more of the green melon. Very clean and crisp, overall. This could be less alcoholic and be even better, since it's not overly bitter. This is in fact very easy drinking, but you don't always need your tongue bludgeoned by the hop hammer. From the 16 oz can purchased at O'Shea's. Dated 11/13/23.

Canned about 5-1/2 weeks ago on Nov 14, 2023. Very long lasting voluminous white, fluffy head over a verrry pale yellow liquid. (Note: my tasting glass has a carbonation initiation grid etched on the bottom; possibly responsible for the steady stream of rising bubbles and longevity of the head) Some very sticky lacing. The liquid is perfectly clear/ no haze. Some grassy/pine overtones in taste and smell. some very lightly toasted grains. Maybe a bit of citrus rind. Some lemon grass. Maybe a very slight bit of white pepper. A bit of hop bitterness, but not a lot. This does not need food as an accompaniment. Body is well on the thin side of medium. Clean, dry finish. This would be a good WCIPA for a hot day...not so much in the cooler days of December when I'm looking for a deep color and heavier body.

Thanks Danny!
Pours a yellow to gold, beautifully translucent, and capped by a firm white head. Good retention, layered, clumpy lacing.
Nose is lemon blossom, green grass, hints of pine, and crackers grain. A slice peppery spice peeks in as well.
Flavor is more pine, orange rind, and grass. Again a slightly spicy hop note comes through.
Mouthfeel is lighter than medium, moderately carbonated, and finishes with an earthy bitterness.
