A storm of Amarillo, Simcoe, Citra, and Erebus hops unleashed waves of ripe stone fruit, citrus zest, and resinous pine over a pillowy body. Bright, aromatic, and electric on the palate, this hazy IPA channels the energy of a supercell.

16 oz. can from Trader Joe's in Tustin, CA. Strong piney, skunky aroma from a hazy medium-light yellow body with a foamy white head. The taste is much lighter than the aroma, but the pine and skunk do follow into the taste with some green hop leaf. Good bitter bite, but not overwhelming, and it balances the honey, caramel sweetness well. Finishes with a lasting dry green leaf bitterness and some vanilla and honey. Very tasty and refreshing hazy IPA.

Canned 11/06/25, into a tulip glass 11/23. Light yellow, opaque, topped by 1.5 fingers of white, relatively loose head of relatively short duration. A little disappointing there. Little lacing. 3.7 for smell, because I almost can't smell much of anything anywhere unless it is intense,, so I give them the benefit of the doubt on smell rating. Not really getting the stone fruit claimed on the label. Disappointed there. More bitter than I anticipated, perhaps leading me to interpret it as more grapefruit rind than anything else. Maybe a small hint of pine. Nice clean mouthfeel, moderate body, light to moderate carbonation.

16 oz can dated 10/24/25
Amber tinged yellow haze topped with a fluffy white head that asserts nearly 2 inches. Good retention. Scattered strings and dots of soapy lacing.
Nose initially pops with an herbal, almost menthol like, delivery of citrus, apricot, grass, and pine needles.
Flavor follows. Definitely starts with that menthol meets herbal grass notes. Citrus comes through a bit timidly after that strong start.
Mouthfeel is medium, good carbonation, but a warming herbal note closes.
