On tap at Smog City Brewing in Torrance, CA.
Pours a murky yellow-brown with a foamy tan head that settles to a partial film on top of the beer. Thin rings of lace line the glass on the drink down. Smell is of malt, grain, herb, spice, and minty toothpaste aromas. Taste is much the same with spice and herbal flavors on the finish. There is a mild amount of spice bitterness on the palate with each sip. This beer has a lower level of carbonation with a slightly crisp mouthfeel. Overall, this is an above average beer with an odd herbal and spice presence that reminds me too much of a natural toothpaste to be very drinkable.

On tap @ the source.
A: Pours a hazy darker side of orange with half-inch white head which fades slowly leaving spots and stringers of lace.
N: Lemon peel zest, bready yeast, spices, peppery, herbal and floral.
T: Sage dominates a tad and generally follows the nose.
M: Semi-moderate body and medium carbonation. Prickly/yeasty/bready and sage/herbal finish.
O: Good and refreshing. Nothing weird at all.
