Rhuby is a smooth tart who is delightfully sour, incredibly sassy, and tougher than anyone this side of the river.

Tap pour at the brewery. Served chilled in a tapered glass. This version has rhubarb.
Mostly clear, pale gold colored body. Brief off white head. Leaves behind spots and partial rings of lacing.
Smells tart with lactic acid.
Taste is tart, with flavors of berry and rhubarb.
Medium mouthfeel. Dry finish. Good carbonation.
Kettle sour with berry (strawberry) and rhubarb.

Got in a trade with The-Adjunct-Hippie. 12 ounce can into tulip glass, best before 8/18/2019. Pours fairly hazy/cloudy deep golden/amber/light orange color with a 1 finger fairly dense and fluffy off white head with good retention, that reduces to a thin spotty lace cap that lingers. Light spotty lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of big sour/tart/tangy rhubarb, lemon, lime, orange, grapefruit, peach, pear, apricot, melon, red/green apple, strawberry, white grape/wine, hay, straw, grass, wheat, cracker, white bread dough, light peppercorn/lacto funk, and yeast earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of rhubarb, fruity/acidic yeast, and moderate pale/wheat malt notes; with great strength. Taste of big sour/tart/tangy rhubarb, lemon, lime, orange, grapefruit, peach, pear, apricot, melon, red/green apple, strawberry, white grape/wine, hay, straw, grass, wheat, cracker, white bread dough, light peppercorn/lacto funk, and yeast earthiness. Light-moderate fruity/lactic tart/sourness, rhubarb tang, and light spiciness on the finish. Lingering notes of tart/tangy rhubarb, lemon, lime, orange, grapefruit, peach, pear, apricot, melon, red/green apple, strawberry, white grape/wine, hay, straw, grass, wheat, cracker, white bread dough, light peppercorn/lacto funk, and yeast earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Great complexity, robustness, and balance of rhubarb, fruity/acidic yeast, and moderate pale/wheat malt flavors; with an awesome malt/tart/sourness and tangy rhubarb balance; with zero puckering/astringent flavors after the finish. Fairly crisp/clean finishing. Moderate increasing dryness from lingering tart/sourness and tangy rhubarb. Medium-plus carbonation and light-medium body; with a very smooth, moderately creamy/grainy, and acidic/tangy/tannic balanced mouthfeel that is fantastic. Zero warming alcohol as expected of 5%. Overall this is an excellent fruited kettle sour. All around great complexity, robustness, and balance of rhubarb, fruity/acidic yeast, and moderate pale/wheat malt flavors; very smooth and fairly crisp/clean/refreshing to drink with the modestly acidic/tangy/drying finish; not overly lactic. Very flavorful and not watery for the ABV. Awesome balance of jammy rhubarb and Lacto complexity; with a great pale/wheat malt backbone against acidity for the ABV. Minimal residual sweetness with crisp acidic dryness. A very enjoyable offering, and impressive style example.
