Need a break from shredding the gnar of life? Want to drink something wicked, not wack? Want more rhetorical questions?! Talk to the hand, because this face (Will's face) ain't listening, unless you're talking about this supercoolawesomenewrad saisonathon brewed with chamomile and pink peppercorns!!! Then he's all beers. That was a pun. DUH! This saison is the raddest, the coolest, the awesomest, the all-that-and-a-bag-of-chippiest, PSYCH! This beer does not include a bag of chips.

Poured into my Pipeworks Ninja vs Unicorn snifter. Drank by the grill on a summer day (and it's as good as you'd think, Bowers Brew), so I think that might pop this review up a bit. Very refreshing Saison style like we've come to expect from the boys at Pipeworks.
A little overcarbonated, like MasterSki said. While being stored in between glasses, damn thing shot a nice headwad (if there is such a word) onto the ceiling of my refrigerator.
Not that I'm going to complain – this was one damn tasty beer.
Super rad, Will.

Bottle from Binny's. Served in a Rouge pint glass.
A - Voluminous white settles to a thick cap, collar, minimal lace. Hazy straw-peach body that gets increasingly cloudy toward the bottom of the bottle.
S - Spicy Saison yeast, light notes of chamomile and peppercorn that increase as the beer warms. Nice integration and balance.
T - The taste has more lemon and stone fruit, with more chamomile tea with honey, and less peppercorn and yeast; some late phenols and spice though.
M - Carbonation is a bit high for my liking, but I was able to dial it down by swishing my glass a bit. Medium body, a tad grainy, with some residual stickiness on the palate. No obvious alcohol.
D - Solid brew. Glad the adjuncts don't overpower here; they integrate quite nicely with the yeast and malt profile. I hear there is some of this in a gin barrel, and that sounds like a winning combination to me.

A - Clean light amber body with massive white head that lingers nicely.
S - Saison yeast, sweet butter/caramel, & floral.
T/M - Sweet and sour with caramel malt and hints of chamomile / herb. Didn't notice the slight bite from the peppercorns until it warmed up a bit.
O - Good Saison with interesting smells/taste. Would be a nice beer to drink on a warm summer night by the grill.
