22 oz. bottle, no bottled on date. Delivered, and drank fresh from the local bottle shop when this was only 4 days old.

Poured into a Big Eddy snifter.

A - A bright beautiful rubyish pink body. Finger or so of fluffy pinkish-tinted white head.

S - Nice pleasant aromatics: smooth, juicy, creamy, & fluffy. Smells like a very interesting yeast strain was used here.

T - Tart, lactic, & bacterial. The authentic raspberry tartness compliments the yeast well. Tart, juicy, creamy, & berryish.

M - Feel is smooth, crisp, creamy, light, & tart. Very nicely balanced stuff. Excellent tartness on this one.

Overall, very drinkable & refreshing summer stuff. Blueberry Berliner next, please.

12oz serving in a chalice on draft, poured at Local Option. Enjoyed on 8.21.16 reviewed from Tasting Journal.

The beer pours a bright garnet color, lightly hazy with a decent amount of clarity, soapy white head, nice lace and retention. The aroma is nice, raspberry and yogurt burst from the glass, lots of tart wheat and some lemon zest. It's pretty simple and straightforward, but very inviting and bright. The flavors are nice, raspberry puree, a bit sugary, lemon zest tartness, wheat, a bit lactic with some yogurt, but not nearly as prevalent as the nose lead on. The mouthfeel is good, very light and lively, light body, very carbonated and a tart, crisp finish.

Verdict: A nice fruited berliner from Pipeworks, not a ton going on, but that's to be expected from the style. Nice raspberry flavor, perhaps could be a bit fleshier, feels a bit sugary and like juice, but quite refreshing and pleasant.

Pours a beautiful and clear bright cherry/raspberry red with a finger of active white carbonation that leaves a thing ring of foam along the edge of the glass.

Bright fresh and tart raspberry aroma with a touch of toasted malt and light funk.

Raspberry tartness is there but rather muted in comparison to aroma. Very thin and watered down.

Light-body, high carbonation, crisp, thin, tart.

Overall, rather underwhelming but easy drinking and refreshing.

Poured into nonic pint glass. Strong thick foam on pour that dissipates quickly, very little lacing. Auburn red hues on the color. Constant carbonation. Funk and berry on the nose. Taste is tart fruit with slight sourness, feels like a sparkling wine.
