22 ounce bottle into a tulip glass. Bottled 8/8/17, had 8/26/17.
Pours a pale, bright yellow, somewhat hazy, with a one inch foamy head and a fair amount of foamy lacing. Smells of Belgian yeast, cloves, other spices, light malt, a light funk. A wheaty and slightly floral aroma. The taste is Belgian yeast, more funk than the nose, hay, wheat, light malt, spices, some lemon. A floral flavor that’s more rose-like on the finish and aftertaste. Smooth, refreshing, somewhat dry, a solid body for the style, well carbonated.
Well made saison. The roses are fairly subtle, but contribute and work well. Very enjoyable.
