“Hot toddy" ale honey, lemon, nutmeg, black tea, and a blend of bourbon barrel aged beer.

All the cozy flavors of a hot toddy in a winter warmer that's sure to remind you that winter's not all thaaaatt bad... This beer is beautifully balanced with notes of bourbon barrel. At 11% in a 4pack... it's a very special offering.

Appearance - The beer poured a golden color with a soft white head.

Smell - Wow, there was a lot of clove in the nose on this one. It smelled liked the holidays.

Taste - The initial impression was lemon tea, with chai- like features. The clove really stands out. The abv is well masked as this is an odd beer that is really smooth.

Mouthfeel - There is some viscosity with low carbonation smoothness.

Overall - A lot of bad reviews on the one, but I enjoyed it.

22 ounce bottle into a tulip snifter. Bottled 10/6/17, had 10/7/17. Nice and fresh.

Pours a mostly clear popsicle orange, with a half inch head and a little soapy lacing. Aromas of cloves, cinnamon, tea, lemon, light malt and yeast. The taste is mostly the same- cinnamon, tea, cloves, malt, less lemon than the nose, light yeast, a little honey. Not a sweet beer, at least, not to me. Smooth, a very good medium body, well carbonated.

It delivers on everything that’s on the label. Well blended flavors, very different. I really enjoyed it, sorry to see that I’m the only one to this point. And in spite of that, let me mention that it’s well worth a purchase.

8 oz serving tasted in a snifter from draught at Firkin on November 10, 2017. Ale brewed with honey, lemon, cinnamon, clove and black tea. A little bit of this goes a long way.

22 Oz of bullshit in a glass bottle. Pipeworks missed the board with this dart. It tastes like a beer mixed with off brand herbal cough drops. I think it would have gone better if they showed a bit more honey or lemon in it and dropped the abv a bit to sweeten it up.
