22oz bottle served in a nonic pint. Don't see a date.
Pours clear amber with a small head and lots of carbonation. Smell is old hops...boy I wish I had a date on this. Some honey and flowers.
Taste is less of the old hops, but a bit of a malt bomb. Hops come across a little as honey / nectar.
Mouthfeel is heavy and thick. Overall, it's not bad, but it's definitely not impressive.

22 ounce bottle into a tulip snifter. Bottled 12/19/17, had 1/4/18.
Pours a mostly clear orange, with a one inch head and some soapy film. Aromas of grapefruit, orange, tangerine, pine, malt. Has a light sweet smell, but don’t know why. Not as fragrant as expected. The pine hits first in the flavor, then grapefruit, orange, tangerine, malt. A good amount of hop bitterness on the finish and aftertaste, a light sweet note in the middle. The taste is considerably better than the aroma. Smooth, refreshing, a solid body, well carbonated.
This “new and improved” version is better as it warms. Lots of flavor, a great body, the malt is a sound and supportive backbone. The aroma though, was oddly kind of bland. Still a very good and enjoyable beer that’s well worth a purchase.

Has a nice sweet pine flavor to go with the cascade hops and hints of citrus. Nice amber color. Could it have been more aggressively hopped or citrus added for more of a punch? Sure. But that is not what this beer is. It is content to be a solid throwback dipa, think some of the older Oregon dipas. No complaining here!

Thanks Matt for this beer.
Cryo Cascade pours a nearly clear deep amber. It's beautiful. It looks like an old style, sappy double IPA. The fluffy white head lazily descends, and looks like curtains of foam cling on the glass as it descends.
It smells resinous and thick of citrus. Slightly one dimensional, but inviting. You can smell that this is rich, full of grapefruit, and finished by an onslaught of pine.
And that is just right. Tons of syrupy grapefruit and pine, with a very interesting, yet infrequent reminder of vanilla. A very unique and intriguing flavor for what seems to be dominated by its classic traits.
Like the flavor would indicate, this is rich and syrupy. The abv is well hidden in the slick feel, and carbonation seems to be subdued.
I can't help myself but think of old Dogfish Head 90 minute and other viscous dipa's of old with this beer. It's classic feeling and tasting, yet includes modern and subtle twists. Very good, very fun, very pleasurable and thankful to have tried. Thanks again Matt. Cheers!

Tasted in a Spiegelau IPA glass from a 1 pint 6 fl oz bottle on January 11, 2018. Look is light amber with a thick head and sticky lacing. Smell and taste is juicy citrus and subtle pine. Feel is medium to full in body.
