Notes: Double Dry Hopped Oat IPA with Mosaic and Cryo Mosaic hops. A secret we can not keep: this variant of Velocity of Light is gorgeously flush with Mosaic hops, waves of blueberry and pine echo throughout each sip of this creamy IPA.

L: Beautifully cloudy pale pineapple juice in appearance with a short foamy head with decent retention and clumpy lacing.

S: Hot with a powerful strong smell
rain-wet stone (or concrete). It’s pleasant and accompanied by alcohol, florals, and only a touch of tropical fruits eeking in there.

T: Wet stone again with tastes of underripe pineapples, a touch of that mosaic dank, and some oranges.

F: A great weight, right on the mark, and reasonably dry and carbonated. Splendid.

O: Tasted that rainy day quality before but not to this impressive extent. This is an original brew with a lot going for it. So glad I got two!

16oz can served in a big snifter. I'm not sure, but I think the date on it is 06/28/19.

Pours very hazy, pale yellow, medium head, lots of carbonation. Smell is mango and citrus rind.

Taste is juicy with a resinous finish. Fairly bitter.

Mouthfeel is resinous, medium bodied. Overall, very good.

On tap. Poured a cloudy, thick, golden orange color with a small, white head of foam. It smelled of orange, mango, guava with toasted caramel. Sweet fruity taste with caramel and a sharp, piney bitterness.

Pretty damn solid beer.
Pours hazy as hell yellowish.
Big white head - sticks around a bit.
Spell is melon and mango.
Flavor follows, but it's fairly light and drinkable. Little bit of a bite at the end w/ some dryness. Really easy to drink.
Carbonation level is pretty high which makes for a good mouthfeel.
Well done.

Quite tasty, but a little rough around the edges ... dirty, pithy. Little too much orange peel aftertaste for my preference, and mouthfeel wasn’t quite as smooth as many in this category

16 oz can into IPA glass. Dated 4/10/19.
Look is hazy golden yellow with slight orange hue. Smell is light tropical fruit with some earthy tones. Taste follows nose with fruit and papaya abd guava, ends with little grapefruit bite. Feel is light to medium. Overall, another winner that i will drink again.

Pours a completely hazy matte orangey-yellow color. Thick velvety white head dissipates slowly and only partially. Lots of sticky white lacing is left on the glass. For a NE style IPA this is a lovely looking beer.

Aroma has notes of tropical fruits, some orange, mango, and tangerine. Touch of sweetness on the nose.

Taste follows the nose with notes of tangerine, mango, orange, tropical fruits and a biscuity/bready malt backbone. Somewhat sweet initially, but then a nice bitter bite develops on the palate and lingers to the finish. Bitter bite provides nice balance to this one.

Feel is medium bodied, smooth and silky. Moderately carbonated.

Overall a really well executed NE style IPA - hits all the right notes for me.

16oz can, date stamped 12/19/18. Foamy off-white head holds great retention atop a hazed yellow-orange-grey colored ale. Big Mosaic hop aroma; very tropical and fruity: passion fruit, tangerine, lemon-lime fill the nose. Flavors are big and hop forward with notes of tart passion fruit, lemon-lime, grapefruit, tangerine and lemongrass; oats provide an almost nutty malt presence but it's mild. Creamy and smooth, very full body, ample carbonation and bitterness, hop resins stick to the palate. Very good beer here. My only complaint is the odd dull color that is mildly unappealing. No problem with haze, just prefer brighter colors.

Pours an effervescent & very hazed gold with 2 fingers of tight ivory colored head. Sheets of lacing, great head retention

S: Lots of orange & tangerine

T: Follows the nose, grapefruit & oatty dryness as well up front. Pomelo & dryness once this warms. Finishes juicy with plenty of citrus & just a little dryness

MF: Medium body, creamy carbonation, lovely balance

Superb take on the style that fills all the squares nicely. What an easy drinker, cheers to FBarber for the one!

A single-hop Mosaic version of Velocity of Light, from a pint can obtained at the Dojo. Pours with as much fluffy head as you want, controlled by the aggressiveness of your pour. Blueberry, cantaloupe melon, dank resin, and wildflower honey, accented by large quantities of flaked oats.
