Imperial Stout with peanut butter, marshmallow, cacao nibs, vanilla, and lactose.

There were those glory days when you'd open your brown paper bag lunch, spill the contents onto the table, and your peers would stare in envy at your sandwich. They'd offer to trade anything for it - their Capri Suns, their fruit roll ups, their packets of Gushers. "Naw" you'd say. You'd keep your Fluffo Sando.

Like the sandwich, this beer is basically dessert. There's just something about the combo of peanut butter, marshmallow, and chocolate...

Jet black pour. No head in sight. I’m sure this is a good Stout but I don’t like peanut butter beers. So this score is to remind me to pass this one up in the future.

Pours a very effervescent mahogany with 2 fingers of rapidly disappearing mocha colored head. Zero head retention or lacing

S: Peanut butter, not much else, maybe a little vanilla

T: Peanut butter, traces of marshmallow, alcohol heat & traces of coffee up front. Some dryness, coffee notes, booze & a little Vanila & Peanut Butter & roastyness once warm. Dryness, roastyness & fake marshmallow flavors

MF: Medium body, firm carbonation, warming

Didn't come together for me, considering the price, hard pass

16oz can from Tavour. Dark, dark brown, sparse head. Aroma is a blend of roast malts, peanuts and marshmallow. In the taste, the bitter roast is up front followed immediately by the sweet vanilla. Mild peanut butter notes. Wish the peanut butter and roast malts were flipped here, but it's a good attempt though.

16oz can. Poured out an opaque, jet-black color with a small, light brown head of foam. It left minimal lacing on the glass. It smelled of marshmallow, chocolate, vanilla and peanut butter. It tasted of chocolate, peanut butter, toasted marshmallow and some notes of vanilla.

I bought this beer just because of the name, Fluffo Sando. My first beer from Pipeworks. I am looking forward to drinking this stout. I used a tulip glass at 48 degrees. A turbulent pour produced a one finger-head medium tan head. The head of the beer sadly dissipated quickly. The head is airy and foamy, leaving no lacing on the glass. The color of the beer charts around SRM 36, dark brown with mahogany. I was hoping for a longer-lasting head.

The initial aromas in the beer are peanuts, marshmallows, dark chocolate, and vanilla. Nosing further in the glass, I smell coffee, lactose, earthy, molasses, caramel, toffee, and dark sugars.

The flavors in the beer are toasted bread crust, peanuts, marshmallows, milk chocolate, vanilla, coffee, smoke, char, toffee, caramel, molasses, lactose, and earthy.

The mouthfeel of the beer is creamy, thick, and coating.

The body of the beer is full, low carbonation, and a fuller finish.

This beer is wickedly sweet. However, this beer is what it says on the label. I love when a brewery produces a beer and, it is not overdone. Although the beer is sweet, this is what I would imagine if I was eating a Fluffo Sando. I enjoyed it.

16oz can served in a little Cantillon glass. Dated 05/04/20.

Pours black with a small creamy head sustained by a lot (and I mean a LOT) of very fine carbonation. Smell is a TON of peanut butter, some marshmallow, and a little less chocolate. I'm giving it a high rating because I know it's a pastry stout.

Taste is along the same lines, but more of a roasty, slightly coffee character. Lots of sweetness, luckily not too much, lots of nuts and chocolate. Nothing specifically says marshmallow, but something vaguely vanilla is probably what's pointing in that direction.

Mouthfeel is thick and sticky. Overall, this is a very tasty beer (just remember it's a pastry stout -- if you don't like those, you won't like this).

Look: this is really dark. No discernible highlights even when held to light.
Smell: peanuts and creamy vanilla.
Taste: ditto, but the flavors merge, nothing sticks out.

It's pretty on point with the ingredients, I enjoy it. It's one of the better PB stouts I've had to date. It's tasty, I paid $8 for 1 can, it's def worth it. If your in the mood for a dessert beer that is easy to drink for 10.5% abv. I recommend it, it's not life changing but i'ts one of the better PB Stouts for sure. The lacing is minimal, (I like lacing). Smells is right on, the taste is right on, but the feel is kind of thin (compared to BA stouts). It was kind of boozy though.

It's worth getting a can for sure, it's pretty good!

Canned 10/15/19; drank 4/24/20 @ the Yarchives.

Black/brown appearance.

A violent pour yielded a nice, noisy dark tan head; minimal lace.

Vanilla, milk chocolate, peanut butter & cream notes in the nose.

Thick, creamy mouthfeel.

Peanut butter, booze heat, milk chocolate & marshmallow flavors.

At a smidge over 6 months old, this was really boozy & really sweet. Not great, but interesting.

16 ounce can into a snifter. Canned 10/15/19, had 2/13/20.

Pours dark brown and opaque, with a half inch foamy head and a decent amount of foamy lacing. Aromas of peanut butter, chocolate, vanilla, cocoa, malt, light marshmallow. Flavors of marshmallow, vanilla, chocolate, roasted malt, some lactose, light peanut butter, a light bitterness. Smooth, a decent full body, seems a little fizzy.

This is good, the add- ins show well overall. The aroma seems a little more defined than the flavor. Enjoyable, if not especially exciting.
