Saison dry hopped with galaxy hops. Don't sleep on supporting the breweries of your Local Galaxy! You'd have to search beyond this galaxy to find a saison that bridges classic fermentation of a rustic style with the lush papaya and guava notes from the Galaxy hops. The saison yeast brings pineapple and ripe peach aromas to this star. The combo is something otherworldly but still familiar.

Expected cloudiness. Beautiful head. This is smoother drinking the aroma suggested. Strong pineapple rind note on the finish.

L: hazy yellow body; fluffy eggshell head
S: juicy Galaxy hip aroma mixed with spicy Belgian yeast
T: complex; spicy Saison yeast, lemon-lime, tropical fruit (pineapple, guava, passion fruit perhaps)
F: fuller body, moderate carbonation, well balanced
O: I bought this on a whim without even looking at what it was, then was annoyed at myself for getting it; BUT it was actually pretty decent

4-pack of 16 fl oz cans courtesy of Vince and Katelynn - thanks!

Passionfruit and white pepper collide in an odd imbalance of flavour. An overhopped saison at best and a chaotic mess of a non-style-adhering ale at worst. Lacks a spicy Belgian saccharomyces yeast profile, clove, wheat...I have no idea what they're going for here and the result - while drinkable - leaves a lot to be desired.
