“Carrot cake" oat ale brewed with carrot juice, lactose, brown sugar, vanilla, cinnamon and nutmeg.
When there's carrot cake to be had, you have to at least have a small slice! Yes, we brewed this beer with carrot juice, which was a first for us! We love the subtle carroty flavor woven throughout this creamy oat ale. Vanilla brings a hint of frosting, and the warming spices help balance the notes from the brown sugar.
All around - this beer is wild, adventurous, but extremely tasty. Kind of like the cake - who thought to put carrots in a cake, anyways?!
