This beer has some saison qualities but it is more wild ale than saison. If you like wilds and sours then buy this beer, but its too far away from the saison style for me to give it high marks. 3.5

A - a beautiful clear golden yellow with a white two-finger head. 4.25

S - Funk but slightly overwhelmed by lactic. 4

T - Slightly sour with a lemon/citrus background. 3.25

MF - Light bodied with a dry but tart finish. 3.5

I had this beer on-tap in a tulip at the brewery.

Appearance: clear golden hue with a light effervescence and a thin layer of white foam.

Smell: sweet malt, floral, rose, tart and honey character; complex and heady, just like a rose. Great.

Taste: tart up front with a good funky character. The floral component is not as prominent in the flavor, but it's still a good saison indeed.

Mouthfeel: medium-light body with a big carbonation and a satisfying creaminess.

Overall: I like this beer a lot. Interesting, tasty and highly quaffable.
