Poured into a tall tulip, the appearance was a semi-thick pale bronzed oakleaf color with a fizzling cap of bubbly white head. No matter how fast or how slow I poured, the head always fizzled.
The aroma had a fantastic blend of green apple, white pear, hay, grass, dandelion/floral character, lemon pulp, sweet wheat, and soured wheat.
The flavor moderately yields to the sweetness but ends up carrying a sly dry yet tart peachy fleshy sweet to semi-skin-like character. Nice change but wishing the peach was noticeable in the aroma. Aftertaste was sticky peachy to green apple, touch of sweet wheat and a nice little tart kick.
The mouthfeel was about medium bodied with a fair sessionability about it. Carbonation felt a touch lower, but I believe this is an aged bottle. ABV felt fine though. Finish was nice and matured through sticky peachy and green apple-like sweet to tart punchiness.
Overall, nice farmhouse IPA, I'd definitely be willing to come back to this time of year.
