Ruhstaller's Dirt - Cab Franc, ale brewed with grape must. 9.6% ABV.
A: There is a constant spout of tiny bubbles rising up the center. Kind of a sienna/dirty orange color. Oh my Thor, I can hear the bubbles rising. That's weird.
S: Smells of dark berries and tannins. Kind of like a currant cider. Grape skin. Some kind of darker honey.
T/MF: It's rather tart, in a dark berry sort of way. Yet, very dry. Fairly carbonated. Light berry seed bitterness. Not very beer-like, in my opinion. Seems more like a honeyed berry cider. Not bad, though.
Poured from a 375mL bottle, into a Belgian tulip glass.
