Classic ESB with something extra. This is one of those beers you can have at any setting. At the game, at the 'cue, on your couch with your nerdy beer geek buddies. Or with a nice plate of carbonara. Pours a nice amber orange shade. A lot of bready malts, some hay, slight Earl Grey. Taste is an extension of the nose along which ends with a subtle hop bitterness. A great example of a classic ESB.

The ESB from Buckeye Lake is a good solid beer. It poured a slightly hazy copper with white head that left a spotty lace. The scent is malty with a bitter flare. The taste leans bitter with sweet malt trying to balance. The mouthfeel is medium in body with good carbonation. Overall it is quite good and worth a shot.

The beer pours a dark Amber color with a creamy white head that dis abates quickly.
The aroma is sweet with a hints of citrus and some floral notes with some earthy tones.
The initial taste was malty. The middle taste is of toasted caramel, and the beer finishes with a nice bitterness with some floral notes.
The mouthfeel is crisp with carbonation a bit on the high side.
This is a great example of the ESB style. It is crisp with a good amount of hoppiness, without sacrificing the maltiness or other subtle flavors.

Ruby copper with a small head.
Aromas of hops, toasted/bready malts.
A nice quick hitting floraly hop bitterness that subsides to the toasted malts of roasted nuts and caramel.
Crisp and clean.
Excellent ESB that seems to be point on to style.

Appearance: Pours a reddish brown, with a bright, off-white head.
Aroma: Faint, but present English hops. Earthy.
Taste: Perfect bitter. Clean, malty, roasty, nutty. Arrives elegantly, with crisp bittering across mid-palate, with an extremely clean bitter end.
Mouthfeel: Clean, crisp, mid-to-lightweight.
Overall: A perfect English bitter, from Ohio! Could see myself drinking this any time of year.
