More of an apple pie spiced flavor than a simple apple taste, unfortunately. Weirdly buttery. I can't describe the aroma but it's strange.
Color is a a lovely golden amber, however. Tastes nothing like cider. It's more like a McDonald's fried apple pie. Pleasantly spritzy and clean, but the touch of bitterness is not so agreeable. There are so many nice things you can do with apples but this isn't one of them.
Not one of my favorites among the other quite likeable brews at Wet 'N Reckless Brewing. On tap at the Miramar-area brewery.
