Extra Knuckles big brother doubles down on the flavor. Ever so slightly too sweet for me personally, but other than beer I don't eat sugars so everything tastes sweet.

Had this on 2015-07-16 in Lancaster, PA at The Fridge on tap.

A - Almost clear gold with a short white head and nice lace.

S - Dank, very ripe pineapple, mint, melon, floral. Very appealing.

T - Apricot, pineapple, melon, mint, orange candy, cracker, pine, herbal spice, hop bud. Well-balanced. Not overly bitter on the finish.

M - Thick body and low carbonation yield a smooth, substantial feel. Resinous and yet soft.

O - The complex flavors ebb and flow during and after each sip. Impressive.

10 day old growler (dont tell the TH police!). Incredible nose of grapes and light booze as it warms. Taste follows with moderate bitterness. Just enough malt and light sweetness to balance. Slick but soft mouthfeel. Best IPA no contest out of a lineup of Fair Maiden, Heady, and Solar Abyss.

10 oz pour on-tap into a tulip.

Golden with a short white head. Hazy with light carbonation.

Peach, pineapple, passion fruit, pine, dank greens, and candy sugar.

Huge flavors of sweaty pineapple, candy-coated peach, and passion fruit. Dank sticky pine and bright florals. Thin honey backbone sweetness.

Medium bodied, silky, oily, juicy, sticky, and semi-dry.

Super juicy and exactly what you'd expect from a Mosaic bomb. Mosaic overload!

This beer was something special. As a tasting companion and sales rep. for a major national brewery put it best, "This beer is on a different level." Exceptional!

The beer comes in this gorgeous hazy bright deep golden color.

The aroma is of lots of Mosaic character. A pure one. Lots of berry, sweet melon, tropical, some citrus.

The flavor follows with those sweet tangerine flavors. The theme of sweet honey dew melon. The finish attacks of some dank and pine notes from the Simcoe also used in this beer. There's a gentle biscuity sweet malt, but mostly hop juice in this. There's some alcohol that attacks in this. The beer lacks a bit of carbonation.

In general, despite the light alcohol, this has lots of Heady character. Not the exact hop profile or body, but the same cleanness, super hoppiness, and light body. One few beers with lots of Heady Topper qualities to it.

First had: on tap at TH

And the articulation points continue to be added. Murky orange-honey color, topped with a solid white head that retained well and left stratifying lacing on the glass. Aroma of ripe stonefruits, floral and slightly resinous, with a toffee-like maltiness in the background. If I had to sum up the flavor in one word, it would be: "DANK." Very dank hops, blend of citrusy, floral, and piney, notes of mineral, ripe melon, a touch of funk. Body was medium, drinkability was nice.
