On tap at TH.
Poured a dull golden-orange color, with a small white head that disappeared completely, lower carbonation evidence, no lacing, left the glass looking a bit lifeless. In the aroma, Belgian farms, essentially, oak, peppery yeast, hay, overripe fruit, crisp white grapes. The taste was a little weird at first, and it took me a few sips to "understand" it. Overripe pear and white grape, bringing in a low-key sweetness, composted melon rind, oaky funk, herbal notes, with spicy yeast coming through as a secondary flavor, hints of banana bread, with an almost tripel-like quality. Body was medium, on the slick side, the mouthfeel suffering a bit from the lack of carbonation. I didn't care much for this at first, but I ended up liking it a lot more by the time my glass was empty.
