On tap at the astral Parageusia bar, served side by side with Para9, by the enigmatic and ever-leather-clad Christian Zellerfield.
This was definitely my favorite of the two, and probably my 2nd or 3rd favorite in the Parageusia series overall. Light golden color, with a well-retaining white ringlet. Pleasant farmhouse funk in the nose, crisp grass, cobwebs. A lot less "fruit" than it's counterpart, Para8, for me, focused more on the classic oaked saison sensations. Funk, appropriate tartness, grass and leaves, with a slight wildflower essence. Great balance, strict dry finish, and super drinkable. Almost gueuze-like, even if a younger gueuze. So, yep, one of my favorite Paras, and probably a very high ranking in TH's overall massive lineup.
