Human is the final chapter in our series focused on ecosystem destroying invasive species... specifically invasives that are affecting our ecosystem here in Pennsylvania. This riff is constructed atop a dense foundation of malted oats. This last batch was exclusively hopped via our Sustained Intraconical Hopping method... no hops were to the boil, rather all hops were added directly to the fermenter throughout the fermentation cycle. Human was then dry hopped intensely post fermentation with Galaxy and Motueka. Cofermented with our new hyper-expressive “invasive” house yeast and our house ale yeast at lower than average temperatures to create a VERY creamy and hop focused beer. Beautiful notes of orange creamsicle ripe guava, mango lassi, Cotton candy, and strawberry smoothie.

Tall can from the source.

Fully clouded, leaving a load of super fine lace/sheeting on the glass.

Mild fruity and semi sweet nose.

On the palate, its enjoyable ripe tropical fruits with candied pineapple and melon coming to mind...tasty and well worth a try if and when they brew this one again

Pours a hazy golden orange with a finger of super dense white head. Sheets of lacing left behind.
Smells sweet, citrus, honey, ripe melon.
The taste follows with sweet oranges, melons, sweet grains, and a sweet honey like taste. A tad sweet for me.
Medium bodied with good carb level, a bit of alcohol presence.
Overall a tasty TH beer, just a bit too sweet.

Big thanks to Jeremy for this can. Invasive 5 is a hard act to follow, but let's get to it.

Pint can dated 10/17/2018 "Homo Sapien", poured into a wine glass at around 44F.

Pours a fairly hazy honey golden color, with a 1/4 finger cap of foam. Recedes to an island fairly soon. Some lacing left behind.

Nose is a blend of candy citrus, pear, green apple, melon, papaya, and this sweet cotton candy note on the back end. Very light and fresh smelling hops.

Palate - Like Invasive 5, this is hugely sweet right up front. Maybe even sweeter than 5. It's hard to imagine they didn't sweeten this. More of that green apple, pear, melon, action going on, with a very white-wine-like thing going on. Reisling or Sauvingon Blanc. Very fresh and fruity. There's a little bit of herbaceous character tucked in, as well. That almost green flavor. There isn't any bitterness going on here, not even into th finish. Finishes wet, sweet, and fruity. Now that it's opening up a little more, I'm getting some notes of sweet ripe cherries, concord grape, and white grape.

Mouthfeel is solid medium across the board. Medium body with some good heft to it. Medium carbonation. It's not fluffy or pillowy, but it's not even close to thin. It's smooth and weighted. A nice in-between. Finishes wet, but clean.

Overall, this is fantastic. I'm really loving this Invasive line. I don't know what it is, but they're brewing these ones with some black magic. They have this crazy strong flavor with all these different nuances. They're fruity and sweet, and incredibly unique. I've never had anything that is even comparable to this Tired Hands Invasive beers. Get some if you can.

Thanks to CanConPhilly for this surprise!
Turbid yellow swirl pushes a glorious head. Firm, white, and great retention. Lite lacing.
Smell is wow. Orange, wet grainy malt, buckwheat honey, and a soft bitterness on the end.
Flavor is bready malt, sweet citrus notes, honey, guava, pineapple, ripe cantaloupe, and a hint of peach. Comes back around to the grain bill, and then a soft bitterness n the end.
Mouthfeel is medium, carbonated well. Gentle warming from alcohol.
Overall, I love this. A tad different from many DIPA's. Generally a bit on the sweet side, but I think this is how it distinguishes itself from so many others. I would crush this one regularly if it were distro'd here.

L - massive, dense offwhite head atop a dingy yellow body.

S - sweet caramel, orange, and herb.

T - marmalade spread on day old toast. Orange, honey, bready malt. Low bitterness. Moderate-high sweetness. Low booziness.

F - medium body and carb.

O - the sweetness ruins this for me.
