I had this on tap at Tired hands, served in a tulip.

The color is lightly hazed golden with thin white cap which settles with some good head retention and fine bead. The aroma is very good with some tropical and fruity hop aromas with a mild spice in the yeast ester. Mouthfeel is very good with dry body and moderate carbonation with moderately high bitterness and subtle fruity tangy quality.

The flavor of the pacifica hops is good with a nice even hop flavor which has some earthy and fruity flavor with mild citrus flavor and more tropical fruit interspersed with some mild saison yeast flavors which have light phenolic and subtle spiciness. Overall I was very pleased with this beer, plenty of hops in the taste and moderate bitterness make it drinkable with a gentle dry quality as it finishes-excellent single hop Tired Hands!

From 07/13/13 notes. Had this on tap at the brewery in Ardmore, PA. I'm assuming this is the same as the Pacific Jade, but this was listed as Pacifica on their menu, so oh well.

a - Pours a grapefruit juice-like color, a murky pale straw yellow color, with one inch of bright white head and low carbonation evident.

s - Smells of citrus hops, lemons, oranges, tropical fruits, fruity malts, light earthy malts and floral hops, grains, and wheat. Nose is fruity with a lot of citrus hops.

t - Tastes of citrus hops, floral hops, tropical fruits, fruity malts, grains, wheat, yeast, light spice, and some lemon. Lots of citrus up front again.

m - Light to medium body and low to moderate carbonation. Crisp and refreshing, and super easy to drink. Awesome mouthfeel.

o - Overall I thought this was a great beer, one of the better ones of the day on tap. Second in the singel hop series I've tried and liked, this one has a lot of fruit in the nose and a lot of citrus hops throughout it. Would love to have it again.
