Saw this at Fry’s as a special release and picked up a 6-pk, poured into a pint glass.
L - Pours a clear, golden straw color with a generous finger of soapy white head that leaves a good retention. Classic lager.
S - Bready malt, honey, orange blossom, cereal grain, sweet corn.
T - Follows the nose with mostly malty-honey sweetness, sweet corn, slight bit of earthy hops, and an astringent alcohol bite towards the end but mostly a sweet-facing lager.
F - Light-to-medium bodied, moderate carbonation, very crisp and finishes clean.
O - The flagship IPA and Roadside Grove are big standout favorites, this was a nice limited offering that represents a lager pretty well and pays a nice homage to AZ statehood.
