Had this on draft at The BRICK STORE in Decatur.
The pour arrived in Tulip glass. Light hazy orange with little head. Side glass lace was abundant from start to finish.
The aromas are full of citrusy hops. Orange, some lemon, hints of pine. Dank hops, mostly citrus, some light sweet malts .
This is an excellent beer.

First had in Kennesaw, Georgia, on draft into Burnt Hickory tumbler. Despite the name, this is not an English bitter, but an American session IPA, and a successful entry in that tough category.

32oz crowler filled at the brewery. 7.50. Canned 8/29/15. Served in a Burnt Hickory snifter.
Pours a hazy orange with a finger and a half white head. The bubbles shrink to a thin collar and a few wisps across the surface, leaving a few small patches of lace sticking along the sides.
The aromas are bright, inviting and full of citrusy hops. Orange, faint lemon, a hint of pine, some slight dankness and a lightly sweet malt presence in the background. The more I smell it the more I like it so the glass keep finding its way to my nose. Outstanding.
The flavors are so bright and vibrant that it is easy to forget that this is a session IPA. Fresh oranges, lemon, grapefruit, peach, apricot, mild pine and a little crackery malt. This bursts with hop flavor and enough bitterness to remind you that it's a serious IPA. Delicious and super easy to knock back.
The body is light but much more substantial than pretty much every other session IPA I've tried. There is just enough carbonation dialed in to make the flavors continue to pop on the palate long after each sip. The citrusy, mildly bitter finish includes notes of grapefruit, tropical fruit and a little pine.
After enjoying this several times at the brewery over the past year and a half it was past time to bring some home to spend a little more time with. The recurring theme throughout the Moon Station Bitter experience is that it is head and shoulders above every other session IPA that I've had, to the point that it is the only example of the style that this "imperial addict" actually enjoys. I look forward to the day that this will be widely available for my warm weather get togethers.

Picked up a growler of this super easy drinking, super fresh and crisp beer from City Growler on the way home. This delicious beer is light enough for uncomplicated drinking but flavorful enough to satisfy your palate. MSB is fresh, clean, assertive. The color is pale with a frothy head full of lace. Citrusy aroma. Very drinkable. Another great GA brew! So many great local beers!

Poured from draught at the BHB tasting room into standard pint glass. Appears hazy and golden, slight off white head with some lacing. Nose carries American west coast hop signifiers, welcoming citrus and slight herbaceous notes common to the style, though more pronounced than usual for a session IPA and some unexpected bready malt character as well. The taste is similar to the nose, with the first sensation being the substantial hops, though without the strong bitterness I would expect from the nose. I assume lots of dry hopping went into this beer, as it drinks very easily despite a strong hop aroma. The taste then turns toward the malt, which is likely the most impressive character of this beer- still lighter than an IPA, but hefty enough to stand up to the flavors imparted from the hops. Mouthfeel is medium-light, but not at all watery or thin. A perfect summer Session IPA, that I hope to still be drinking this time next year.
